They are dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of mental health for school staff in Washington State. Representative Lillian Ortiz-Self introduced SHB 1363 with the support of these other Representatives, passing both the House and the Senate. The bill was then signed into official state law by Governor Jay Inslee, in April 2021 and became effective in July 2021.
